La Comer San Lucas

Y'all, I have been shopping in Mexico for over 20 years, and this is the best store I have been to. If you need to stock your house or hotel room for vacation, come here. It was clean. Everything, and I do many Everything was refrigerated. The fruit was fresh, their meat selection was incredible, and they had cheddar cheese (and several other cheese options). I know this sounds silly, but this American girl loves her cheese and crackers. They also have a great bakery, dairy (including oatmilk and almond), and alcohol selection. Last but not least, we all know how hard it is to navigate a new store. Let alone do it in a foreign country. This store has all of their signs in Spanish and English. We got a week's worth of food, snacks, alcohol, and cheese 🧀....for less than $300 for 6 people.

Crazy good fun shopping at La Comer! Figuring out the exchange rates, super efficient packaging, and huge selection of stuff to buy. You can purchase eggs, bacon, squid, mopeds, and book your trip excursions right here. Plenty of parking. Bring your own bags!

As supermarkets go in Cabo San Lucas, this place ranks high! We've been here many times to collect food and other provisions for our stay at a local resort. The meat selection isn't bad, although this is not a butcher shop. Plenty of prepackaged meats as well as a fresh meat selection. A ceviche selection can be found near the back of the store. Self serve then go to the deli counter to get weighed and a sticker with a bar code. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a plenty. Limes are a decent price, not the price gouging you'll see in the US. If you need Asian noodles, find the small Asian section near the front of the store. You can get nearly everything you need here. Steer clear of the other grocery stores in the area.

Nice place to buy a lot of things I like. I love to buy sopes and gorditas in the tortilleria area. Highly recommended! I just buy the "shells" and at home I add the rest of the ingredients. The "masa" is very different from other places. Just try them!
